About Us

I created 52 Weeks of Yoga with Wendy Campbell and all the other content on for you!  Many of you have attended my weekly classes and privates; many have shown interest in the healing power of yoga; many have supported my endeavors with love. Teaching is my purpose, you know that. It is also beautifully rewarding, and it is so because of your dedication. I see teaching and learning as companions of the same experience, and I grow as a teacher and a human being because of you. I want to sincerely say, "thank you!" I invite you to watch the content on Intrepid Breath and practice with me.

Wendy Campbell's Journey

Wendy Campbell has always felt most at home when she is moving her body. She grew up in the woods of Pennsylvania. She spent her early adulthood skiing and hiking the Wasatch Mountains in Utah, camping in Kentucky, and whitewater rafting in the Moab and on several rivers across the southeastern United States. She received a Bachelor’s of Science in Outdoor Education at Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania in 1998. Her first yoga class was in 2000, but she was not hooked. She was not ready, but at the same time knew it was somehow important. She was preparing for when yoga would be her saving grace. When she moved to Asheville, North Carolina in 2001, she practiced with some inspiring yoga teachers that introduced her to Anusara yoga. Then, she was hooked. She began practicing as much as she could. In 2006 she was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. All of her relationships changed, including the one with yoga (more about her journey through cancer on this issue of Ebella magazine; read here). She had a moment of clarity when she understood that her yoga practice was fertile ground to rebuild and strengthen all aspects of herself, and that was up to her. 13 years later, she can clearly say that it is a lifelong practice. Her casual yoga practice evolved into her life line as she continues her journey towards wholeness. After going through cancer treatment, she was filled with fear and anxiety and needed to feel in control. Which led to marathon running and to the security of a brokerage corporation where she earned her Series-7 brokerage license. After finding her footing, she ended her career in the brokerage industry and backed off her running mileage to study, practice, and teach yoga full time. Since then, she has dedicated her life to yoga and helping others navigate life through the lens of yoga. "Every single one of us goes through traumatic times, we have that in common and practicing yoga helps me to find more steadiness and ease in challenging situations." She received her National Yoga Alliance yoga teacher certification at the Asheville Yoga Center in North Carolina and Advanced Teacher Training with Power Yoga. She draw upon several years of Anusara and alignment based practice and study in workshops all over the country. She also learned the system of Budokon Yoga, which empowers her personal practice. She also had the privilege to train with senior Ashtaunga teachers. In 2017, she earned her certification with Yoga for Cancer (Y4C), a methodology designed to work directly with the physical and emotional needs of cancer survivors. In 2018, she teamed up with filmmaker and photographer Luigi Cassinelli and created 52 Weeks of Yoga with Wendy Campbell, a comprehensive yoga video course (running time of 22 hours and 45 minutes) viewable on and on Blu-ray box set on Wendy's website (direct link here).
